Iā€™m linking up with The Sunday Post hosted by Kimberly @Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This has been a week. I had a lot of personal stuff going on (still do) and depression is rearing it’s ugly head, so thank the universe that I have a ton to read until I get myself together.

And I’m trying to shake it off, because in a few short hours I’ll be getting ready for Comic-Con! I’ve never gone in Denver, and I know it’s pretty lame compared to San Diego (which is the one I’ve been to previously, many and many a year ago) but I’m going to fangirl over some of the kids from Stranger Things and Nathan Fillion and some people from Buffy.

Also I am three ahead of my Goodreads reading goals! So woot woot.

I managed three reviews this week (click on the picture to see the review):

I am SO glad to say that I loved all three books. I was able to not only break my streak of bad reviews, but start a new streak of good ones.

I reviewed Girls Made of Snow and Glass, which is a feminist Snow White re-telling and it’s fantastic.

Consider and Contribute are books 1 and 2 in the Holo series, and man they are good.

I’m still up to my ass in ARC’s, and have more coming in the mail. Which I love, because I always have something to read.

I also won a few Goodreads giveaways, so I’ll be getting those someday.

I hope everyone is having an incredible week, and I can’t wait to read your posts!

  1. Sorry to hear your depression was flaring, I hope this week you are feeling better! oh what a conundrum! I’m not so much into retelling but feminism??? COUNT ME IN!!! so I may need to check out Girls made of Snow and Glass!

It’s soo good!!! And it’s on NetGalley. I think the re-telling is such (in this case) that you could probably ignore it, anyway, and just focus on the new story! It’s not resting on the original in any way!

  2. Hi and thanks for visiting my blog the other day! I’m sorry I’m slow on getting back to yours but I am in the middle of catching up. šŸ™‚

      Right?? Finish one, request another.

      1. Evelina says:

That sounds too good. For me it’s like… don’t finish one, request 5 others :DD

  4. Greg says:

Sorry it’s been a rough week. Have fun at the con, hope it’s awesome. I’d love to see the stranger Things crew, LOVED that show. I haven’t been to a con in a while, miss the atmosphere of those places. šŸ™‚

    1. Savanah says:
